Suddenly old 70’s songs get more popular and are getting used more frequent for several commercials. One of them is actually a very good choice: they use this song for the KPN Mobile commercials. Besides the fact that today the summer officially ended, its also a fact that August 2004 was the wettest month (in Holland) sind 52 years. Sometimes you find that a choice you made turns out less good then one hopes. When I was picking my leased car about 1 1/2 year ago, I was pretty convinced that my sporty looking Fiat Stilo was a good choice. In Holland we have this rather dorky campaign about driving safely when you (or some friends) have had some alchohol to drink. The whole campaign pivots around an imaginary person called “BOB” which stands for “Bewust Onbeschonken Bestuurder”. This translates roughly into something like “conciously un-drunk driver” (I know: it sounds awfull and in Dutch its rather stupid also, but hey: what do you expect from a government sponsored campaign?). Hmmmm. I just spent a couple of hours reinstalling my server and also reinstalling my Sam2 audio software. For some weird reason my .php for the server wasn’t working anymore. I got a vague error about not being able to connect to the MySQL server. Well, if it ain’t broke, just get a larger hammer I always say 😉 So after spending 2hrs reinstalling all my stuff it worked again.
