Ok, I have my eye on a ’78 Lincoln MkV. It looks great on the photo’s (look below for a sample). For more pictures look here. Problem is the price the guy asks for this pimpmobile: Euro 13.000. Security upgrade
Since I’m running my own server, I’m constantly working on it. Tweaking stuff, making it run better, etc. etc. Well, I decided it was time for a security upgrade. I wasn’t happy with Norton Internet Security (constantly driving me crazy with unuseful info) and I have a very good router (Draytek Vigor 2900) with an excellent built-in firewall. It is a ’78 Mark V that has 80k miles on it and that came straight from California. Next weekend I’m going to look at it with a friend of mine. Below are two examples of the car I’m talking about. Yes! It’s FRIDAY again. Thank God, another work week is over! The fact that it’s friday always is good for lifting spirits at my work. Also, since it’s vacation time everyone is either gone or about to go (the running gag when people come to our department is: “Look here, this is our tech-department. Currently everyone is on a sabattical”) it’s a bit more relaxed here than usual. Why is it always so hard to start working again after a vacation? I came back this Saturday from Florida, and starting this Monday was pretty annoying. I kind off walked in like a zombie and even three mugs of coffee later, I didn’t feel very alert. Jet lag is a bitch. Flying back from Carrie is always the worst; I loose a day and it feels just like that. When I arrived yesterday, I felt pretty ok. I slept for one and a half hour and stayed up till 11:30pm which is good I think. But this morning I feel like I have a bad hangover.
