Man, do I have a killer jetlag or what? Today was my first day at work again and it was awfull. Last night I could not sleep until it was at least after 3am this morning. When I got up I was still feeling more or less ok, but halfway through the day I just almost fell into a coma. And it has been like that the last few days. I got back this Sunday and slept only a few hours (more a quick nap). After that I decided that I would stay up as long as possible (usually a good idea when compensating for flying East) and I managed to stay up till 23:30. However I woke up at 1pm on Christmas day, so I slept a good 13 hours! But that night I could not sleep at all and I fell asleep after 5am in the morning after tossing and turning for hours. Yesterday (2nd day of Christmas in Holland) I got up at 11am (after 6hrs of sleep) so I figured it would not be hard to sleep. But as it turned out I could not sleep again. The last years I always had at least a week or so between returning and starting work again, but this year I had only 2 days (Xmas). Anyway, my biorythm is messed up. I hope I sleep well tonight: I think I will crash in about 1 hour.
Ps: someone suggested to me that I should get me the patented JetLag Watch “to ease the psychological effects of jet lag”. I’m not kidding you: that watch really exists.
