Just to let you know: I have another gadget in my hands. It’s a brand new T-Mobile MDA Compact, also known as HTC “Magician”. It’s a Windows Mobile 2003 powered smartphone that really is well build and that has all the features (and software) that I like.
I also own a Sony Ericsson P800, but it is now 2 years old and it’s really getting outdated (there has been a P900 and a P910a since then). Also I do not like the Symbian OS to much and it is rather slow compared with the 400+ Mhz XCPU that the MDA has.
As usual you can play video’s on it, take pictures or small videos with the 1.3 megapixel camera and – off course – use it as a nifty organizer! All in all its a small package with good stuff in it. As far as I can see now, the only bad thing about it is: battery life. It has an extremely short talk time (+3hrs) and standby will be about 24hrs.
