Snowbound
Monday morning. Most people have vacation for at least 1 or even two weeks. Not me, and obviously not all the people around me that tried to leave Almere. As soon as I drove around the corner I was stuck in traffic. I tried a small detour, but it didn’t help. All in all it took me 45 minutes just to get to the highway (less than 3 miles from my home). Winter wonderland
Yes folks, it snowed the last few days in Holland as well. It’s cold and windy out here. Not a big problem as long as you do not need to drive to work or something. Last Thursday morning for instance, it was a drama on the road (as to be expected). But I guess things are not as bad as they are in other countries.
