Ok, so I am a bit late with this subject, but the fallout of Katrina (no pun intended) occupied most of my blog the last weeks. Anyway: afterall there was something stirring at Apple. But it wasn’t the big one (it has been rumoured that Apple will come with it’s own video iPod or iTunes Movies). Instead the hoopla was about yet another iPod, the Nano, and the Motorola Rokr, the first Phone with iTunes.
Just weeks before that Apple tried to create a stir by claiming they “reinvented” the mouse by introducing “the mighty mouse”. Now, it so happens that a collegue of mine ordered one of those mouses right away. So I did get a chance to fiddle around with it. My conclusion: don’t believe the hype. The Logitech MX 1000 laser mouse, gives you more value for your money.
I just wonder if just introducing another version of the same product (the Nano) is going to cut it. How many versions does one need? I fear that Apple is running out of ideas and just tries to bank on the hype it created. As far as the phone goes: why did Apple turn their back on sony Ericsson? Obviously because of Sony (music, films etc.). But jeezz, I just dislike Motorola. Their phones are just not intuitive or user friendly.
