Portable 2-the-max

One of the coolest things lately, are those Web 2.0 applications that turn your browser into a virual desktop. It allows you to be portable, as long as you have an Internet connection. I also have a cool 1gb U3 enabled USB stick from Memorex. It has a load of portable applications on it. One drawback is that whatever option you choose it still isn’t exactly what you want. Well, a new venture has entered the ring of portable applications: MojoPac. This nifty little application (currently beta) makes it possible to have a completely portable virtual XP with you on any USB enabled storage device. It doesn’t matter if it’s an iPod or a USB stick.

How it works I don’t know, but it looks like it creates some kind of virtual PC on your device. You log on to it and it works just like XP. I think is the best for an external harddisk, like my Trekstor USB 2.0 30gb drive. In fact: I am writing this blog on Opera 9 using MojoPac. Now, the only thing I wonder about is, if this is legal! I think Microsoft will really not like this. I already very much like it.
