I’ve been a huge fan of the Half-Life video games series, ever since the original came out in 1998. It set some new standards in storyline and also graphics (altough it basically uses a modified Quake engine). I remeber how I hugely enjoyed the opening scene for Half-Life with its cinematic effect and how it pulled you right into the game (something I only enjoyed again when playing Call of Duty 4). Commuter hell
You know what: it’s the small things in life that can annoy me the most. Like this morning; it took me 1hr. 19min. to cover 47 kilometers (29 mph). That came up to an average speed of… 35km/h (21,7 mph). Usually when it takes me that long, there has been an accident or it’s bad weather. No such thing this morning however.
