Hi,Well, I haven't had time to blog about the problems with my website lately, but the weekend before last, I tried to upgrade my blog software (Serendipity or S9y) wich resulted in a catastrophe. It ended up with Site5 restoring a backup for me as my site was completely FUBAR. This weekend they did a Apache upgrade (from 1.x to 2.x) and that resulted in my site going down as well (fixed promptly).

So this just added to all the aggravation. Some asshole exploited a bug in Coppermine to upload some content for some phishing scheme with Paypal. No shit!
Why Site5 didn't remove it (I mean: they had every right to do so!) is beyond me.
So now I am updating Coppermine and trying to secure it (off course I will keep a close eye on it).
Anyway kudos to the Site5 crew: they always have been able to help me out (quick). But the whole deal still really pisses me off!
F*** all hackers and script-kiddies!
